We suggest you explore the Anykščiai Regional Park on foot. This is a very picturesque and scenic route that goes along the River Šventoji and through Anykščiai Pinewood, the forest, which vividly described by Antanas Baranauskas. By taking this route you can visit five beautiful and unique objects, which have attracted many tourists and nature lovers. The Directorate and Visitors’ Centre of the Anykščiai Regional Park are located in the territory of the former Anykščiai Manor. The manor house dates back to the 16th-17th century. The building which currently houses the directorate and visitors’ center, is a school built in 1883 (it was renovated in 2010). Anykščiai Church of St. Matthew
The Anykščiai Church of St. Matthew, now entering its second century, has met and seen out several generations of Anykščiai citizens. As a symbol of the city and its most striking panoramic feature, it impresses visitors of the city with its magnificent neo-gothic shapes, its size and its rich history. Siaurukas
Siaurukas is the way the locals refer to the Aukštaitija Narrow-Gauge Railway that has been delighting visitors and locals for two centuries. The Cognitive Path of Šventoji
The Cognitive Path of Šventoji is 4.7 km long. As you go, you will get acquainted with the vegetation of the Anykščiai Pinewood landscape reserve and will get a chance to rest as you spend time in the woods. The Anykščiai Pinewood landscape reserve occupies an area of 1421,5  hectares. The Reserve was established to preserve valuable complexes, the structure and exterior of which were determined both by natural processes and by long-term human activities.
